Objectives

  • Inform churches about the Biblical call to care for orphans and motivate churches to be actively involved in serving orphans.
  • Support the establishment of church-based adoption and foster care ministries.
  • Provide information and support to families considering foster care and adoption.
  • Connect believers across the region with opportunities to serve orphans and families in crisis.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

The Bible

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the final authority for faith, doctrine and conduct.

The Trinity

We believe in one God; Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Father

We believe in God the Father, who created all things. The Father adopts as children all who are drawn by the Holy Spirit to believe in His Son, giving to them all the riches of God’s glorious Kingdom.

The Son

We believe Jesus Christ is God’s eternal son, fully God and man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified, died and was buried as a sacrifice for our sins. He rose from the dead and returned to heaven and will return to gather His church to Himself.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and to convict the world of sin.

Mankind and Sin

We believe man was created in God’s image but fell into sin and was therefore lost. By personally receiving Christ through faith, we are forgiven our sins, reborn by God’s Spirit, and declared with assurance to be children of God.

Salvation

We believe that God sent a Savior, His son, Jesus Christ, because of His love for every person. Salvation and forgiveness of sin is by grace, through faith and not of works. Eternal life is a free gift to everyone who believes and receives Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.

The Church

We believe The Church is the Body of Christ, enabled by the Holy Spirit to demonstrate the fruit of God’s redemptive work.  It is a covenanted community of worship, prayer, and service, called to love God and neighbor and to live out the ethical and moral imperatives revealed in Holy Scripture. The Church is called to make disciples of all nations, proclaiming the Gospel to the spiritually lost and equipping believers so that they may be presented mature in Christ.

The Future

We believe that all believers go home to be with Christ in heaven at the moment of death and that the rapture of the church is imminent; that Jesus Christ is coming again to earth to reign as the rightful King and Lord.
